Wednesdays do come round quickly, don't they? So here's my 'desk' this week - back on the dining table busy making ATCs for the swap in 5 weeks' time...
I won't show any completed ones, so they'll be a surprise for the recipients, but this is 'an experiment' :-}
But I will show the BUMPER Last Giveaway in my Celebration Sundays - I shall miss my weekly Giveaways :-(
You can see more photos and info over here, where you can leave a comment to be in the draw on Sunday (27 April) at 11 am (BST) - the day before my BIG 5-0 on the 28th :-)
I am happy to post the goodies anywhere, so please don't be shy and help me get my birthday celebrations off to a happy start!! Leave a comment here.
Now, I'm away to Julia's Stamping Ground to see what others are up to...

ReplyDeleteThey look amazing Claire and your jigsaw ATC has me intrigued....thanks for sharing Vikki #22
ReplyDeleteI totally spoiled any surprise by showing mine but hey ho. I'll have at least ONE surprise as I am working on a different "special" one for my direct swap partner on the day. Pipping you at the post was a fluke - I checked in the middle of the night (I don't ever sleep for a long stretch) then first thing in the AM and got lucky. Now I just have to weather the storm of internet issues on both sides of the Atlantic (our mail server in my parents basement and my UK ISP - grrr...) and get commenting between shopping and skating! Best get to it :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!
Mary Anne (1)
I turned 50 last December and really it is just another day that skips on bye. Great bunch of goodies on your desk this week. Hope you have a wonderful birthday.

ReplyDeleteAh, am going to a school reunion today because my year group turns fifty...you're in good company!!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, I like the gate fold puzzle pieces...am always left in awe of ideas that others use for their ATCs...if you didn't see them, totally worth scrolling through Mary Anne's blog to fined hers! they're amazing!!
Hello Claire and thanks for visiting . I was just reading your 'your profile' my it puts my little knee problem I to perspective!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea you are ' experimenting' with for ATC's. I really must start. Hope you have a wonderful birthday . Wish I was coming up to big 50 - I've already had the big 60! -) Have a great week. A nne x #37

Happy birthday, Claire, and I am sure you will celebrate in style. I had my big 6-0 last year. Your ATC looks very intriguing and what a wonderful idea! I am hoping to take part in the swap but need to get my skates on and start making some. I've got so many things on the go at the moment!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your two lovely comments - our kitties are indeed very pretty girlies, but oh so naughty too! They provide us with endless entertainment value, and we are so pleased that Phoebe has overcome her shyness and has included Mum in her very limited circle of those she will trust (my hubby and me!!) and Mum is being constantly entertained by their antics - Beatrice doesn't like Phoebe going into Mum's annexe one little bit because she considers Mum to be her own personal property, and she gets very jealous! They keep Mum happy and the moaning level has decreased sharply, which is a real blessing for us!!!
I laughed at your comment about my new sewing machine - it's pretty well what Mum said too! She used to have an old Singer that had an electric motor attached, and along with the hand-cranked Singers at school, that was what I cut my sewing teeth on, too! My grandmother's old Singer tressle table is now spray painted white, with a glass top on it, and serves as a beautiful hall table. Things have certainly moved on, and it's now my turn to learn to use a computerised electronic machine with more bells and whistles than you could imagine!
Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #43

Love that puzzle ATC, what a great idea. I'm always amazed at how clever you all are at coming up with such imaginative ideas. Happy birthday for the 28th and have a fabulous week..
ReplyDeleteVon #13
Cute ATC - I like the way it's like a little card. thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. The mouse pad is actually my daughter's and it has a picture of Robert Pattinson on it. Upside down he does look a lot like David Tennant. I'm a fan of Dr. Who. :-) I use the mouse pad to stamp on to get more even coverage. Poor Robert - he's got ink all over him. April #71
ReplyDeleteHi Claire and thanks for stopping by my desk earlier. So impressed with those who have their ATCs in hand, mine are only vague thoughts but I am being urged to start....Your ATC is very interesting - I hope we all plan to display them on our desk maybe #261. Cheers and have a great week Robyn#18
ReplyDeleteHello Claire. What a lovely design for an ATC - a surprise in the middle. Great fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks for already visiting - yes, freebie on magazines can be pretty good. Having only fairly recently been given a big shot, I am buying mags with embossing folders or dies I will use... oh dear, MORE stash!!
Margaret #49

Some real little teasers on your desk this week. Thank you for your visit this week. I am glad to see someone else using that fantastic electric eraser. I could not do without it now, just because you can get into such small places. Did you ever take a chance on the Gelli plate? Have a good week. xx Maggie #10
ReplyDeleteHi Claire,
ReplyDeleteYour ATC looks quite interesting! Is that a puzzle piece or a stamp? Either way it's very cool. You really know how to pay it forward in celebrating your birthday!
I'm not participating in WOYWW this week as I couldn't visit too many desks.
Happy belated WOYWW
Hugs,
Kay
