An eye for an eye only leads to more blindness.
Margaret Atwood
Such wise words…. I especially like those of Margaret Atwood...
ReplyDeleteI do, too I love her writing - The Handmaid's Tale and Alias Grace are real favourites :)
ReplyDeleteI shall have to look into those… ;-)
DeleteThe Handmaid's Tale is a modern classic, and is on the English Literature syllabus in some schools. They made a film in 1990, but not great. Book is brilliant, though!
DeleteAnother great Atwood book is The Blind Assassin which won the Booker in 2000 x
