If you don't know what WOYWW is, look here :-)
(A pre-sticking shot - trying to decide if I like the spread...)
Look, I'm actually crafting - well art journalling!!
After a couple of weeks of showing parcels, I heeded Krisha's comment last week, 'Time to get back to creating GF!' - thank you for the gentle kick up the derriere, my dear *grin*
As you can see, I'm still at the dining table - I just like all the s-p-a-c-e! And while it is a pain to tidy away before we eat, it's so worth it!
I'm working in this 8" x 8" journal, which I bought several years ago from Nancy Rafi, but her Etsy shop is bare at the moment :(
I just love the sentiment!!
I plan to fill it with sassy women - like the female farrier in the spread I'm working on. I know the article was in Country Living, but I've no idea who she is, I'm afraid...
Time now to see what crafty goodness is on others' desks...
We're all gathered at Julia's Stamping Ground.
PS This week's giveaway...
If you'd like to win it, leave a comment on this post where there's more info and photos :-)
Oh a lovely front cover on the journal book. , enjoy filling your book with crafting things.

We all need a kick in our creative derrieres occasionally, don't we? (Well I know I do!) Claire, just saying, I really like your blog. I've got to take a minute to add you to my who's posting list--good grief, I can never find anyone. Oh, no, never mind, found the subby button, even better! Now that I've rambled on, a happy woyww to you, and thank you for stopping by this week. (My craft space is cold in the winter, but it's nice to have a spot to keep everything, and not worry about getting paint all over everything!)

ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and your nice comment. Sorry to hear about Molly and hope all will be well with her back. It's a worry, isn't it! Beatrice is healing slowly but she has a urinary infection and is now on antibiotics. She's not enjoying all these trips to the vet!
Glad you are enjoying my teabag art.
Happy WOYWW,

What a fantastic quote on the front of the journal and so true! Love how your first spread is coming out and I really like your idea of filling your journal with sassy women. I've really enjoyed making socks this year, especially since I started making patterned ones, I can't stop casting on! The green pair is now at the heel but I need some reinforcing nylon as it's 100% merino wool and I will need to add the nylon in to reinforce the heel and the toes, I'll see if I can get some this weekend. In the meantime, I cast on another pair last night cause I just can't contemplate life without a pair of socks to knit!! I've really fallen deeply into the rabbit hole, lol!
