Put your ear down to your soul and listen hard.
Anne Sexton
I love this quote!
And it's rather appropriate for this week's Giveaway - this beautiful soul-full necklace from Creek

It's made from oxidized silver, with the wee charm reading 'Soul' and a small turquoise bead capped with silver, and there's a handmade hook clasp with seedbeads

The stroke left me often struggling to swallow, and I simply cannot wear things this close to my throat :-(
So I want to gift it to a person who will wear it, enjoy it, and listen hard to the things their soul whispers...
If you'd like to win this delicate treasure, leave a comment below, and I'll draw a winner next Sunday, 2 March at 11am GMT (March, already?? *gulp*)
GOOD LUCK!!

Giveaway 4 winner
Thank you to everyone who entered my fourth giveaway.
There were 24 entries, and once again using an online random number generator, the winner is comment no. 4 (and no, I didn't count her PS comment *grin*)
Congratulations, Hula La!!
If you can email me your snail mail address (using the Contact Form in the sidebar, as the email link on my Profile doesn't seem to work...), I'll get this cute notebook in the post to you this week :-)
Please enter me for this drawing! It's a lovely necklace and very generous of you !! :)
ReplyDeleteOk so here I am once again and would love to enter your giveaway! This is a lovely necklace and love the world soul. Hope thta you have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteI ABSOLUTELY LOVE this necklace and the quote...I have a post written that will publish in a few weeks about listening to your heart, but listening to your soul.....I think I like that thought better!
ReplyDeleteWhen I had thyroid cancer, I too had difficulty wearing anything close around my neck....maybe you could make an extender for this necklace to allow you to still wear it....but I guess you can't give it away and still wear it...
xo,
Deb
I don't like things that close to my throat either ... past life issue maybe? LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful necklace. And I love your quote too
I keep a journal of worthy quotes. Just added the soul one - truly inspirational. So is the necklace. Thanks for the chance to win it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Hula La!
ReplyDeleteThank you Claire for another gorgeous giveaway!
Well, hula, la, la , la...I am tickled pink! Mahalo from the bottom of my heart!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift to give away, I would give it to my friend who has had 3 tia's (transient ischaemic attack), I would love to hear her soul sing, thank you the chance x
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, this necklace is awesome! Full of heart AND soul! Aloha from frosty New York!
ReplyDeleteCongrats too Hula La! The necklace is gorgeous and will resonate with a lovely person whose soul will sing! Thank you for being so generous. My mother's favorite color was turquoise. She thought everyone looked beautiful in turquoise.
ReplyDeleteWell done Hula La, you are a very lucky girl ;0)
ReplyDeleteYes please, would you be kind enough to enter me for your lovely Birthday draw.
Big hugs
Beautiful necklace Claire - such a shame that you can't wear it anymore - but nice to give it a new lease of life as a birthday giveaway. Each time I see these it reminds me of a Hobbit birthday!! :) xxx

ReplyDeleteDear Claire - this is so beautiful, and of course I would love to be the winner (I do wear this length chain!) - as you know, I am currently engaged in the practice of listening very closely to the whispers of my soul. I am sure everyone here would treasure your lovely gift and it will find it's way to the perfect home. x
ReplyDeleteLovely necklace it's a shame to give it away but I'm sure someone will love it as much as you

ReplyDeleteHello Claire, that is a beautiful necklace and, although I rarely wear necklaces (also feel like I:m choking), I love the message on the little silver charm. I bet Chloe would "borrow" that right away and I might get it back once in a while...lol. She's 21 and good at it! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely delicate necklace. Karen #44
ReplyDeleteI have to enter because I would wear it all the time. Turquiose/aqua is my favourite colour. Soul, I think, would receive some attention and initiate discussion on deep things which I would savour.
ReplyDeleteVery nice give away! I love the message. These last few month my life has changed and I'm still finding my footing. My soul is adjusting. (the changes were very much for the good, just shocked with the change)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
jill
Beautiful and generous of you. I have been really trying to tune in to my soul.
ReplyDeleteA really beautiful giveaway prize. I'd love to enter
