Ho hum... this past week really hasn't encouraged embracing Nature here in the UK - wet, cold, grey, the odd snow flurry!
All I managed was to snap this from the car on my way to hydrotherapy on Wednesday - the only time I've stepped out the door this week **bbrrrrrr**
I hear you! Well, this part of my world, it was -3 deg C. Yay! But tomr…we are in for snow and then rain in the evening! Blah!
ReplyDeleteWe are getting a sprinkle finally after 40+ days with nothing. Send us some more and we will send you some dryness :)
ReplyDeleteThe clouds look cold, I hope some sunshine comes your way soon.
ReplyDeleteYup cold, grey and wet down here too - yuk. I really struggled to get outside this week. I can see enough blue in your photo to make a sailor a pair of trousers though :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it really does look cold. Meanwhile we are being roasted here in Melbourne
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not a fun time to be outside! At least the clouds make for a cool photo!
ReplyDeleteOh, what cool cloud formations and the way the sun's rays are coming down - love this shot!!
ReplyDeleteGreat cloud picture, and I see some rays of sunshine trying to get through it!
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks cold, but look at the warmth of the rays lightly shining through the clouds. Seeing the sun's rays through clouds always does something to me.
ReplyDeleteIt is supposed to be in the low 80's down here in s.e. FL this weekend. Summer will be here for us all too soon it seems like with these temps. We did have several days of rain and gray skies this week and that was good for growing things.
Have a nice weekend ~ FlowerLady
Wonderful cloud photo Claire.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous brooding sky - it looks like it's just rained or it's going to rain!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo Claire! I can see the sun-rays coming down!
ReplyDeleteThat looks rather like a Montana winter sky. Enough to keep one inside....
ReplyDeleteWhen in doubt, you can always count on the sky for a good photo! Hope you get some better weather soon!
ReplyDeleteA great photo. It has an ominous look about it. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI love your cloud photo. I can see just a wee bit of blue sky peeking through.
ReplyDeleteOh Claire, sorry the weather has been just awful. We had some horrible cold but today was actually warm compared to what it has been and it snowed so much and I had to go out in it, despite not feeling all that great. Warmer weather is coming! Spring is around the corner. Hang in there. :D Blessings, Bird
ReplyDeleteClaire, I found your blog today through the Grow Your Blog event. I will be checking in regularly. Thanks for the challenge to get outside. I did and it was cold. I have posted my photo. Sylvia D. www.smdgreetings.blogspot.ca
ReplyDeleteLovely clouds... it's grey and gloomy here today but about 40!
ReplyDeleteI would say this photo captures the weather mood perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI take more photos from my car in the winter time than anywhere else because it's a great place to see the weather without the burden of feeling it! Great cloud pic ... I take tons of cloud pics too!
ReplyDeleteThis winter has been a long cold one! Usually I love grey cloudy days...a day you can curl up with a quilt and a good book.....but I am now looking forward to bright sunny days and WARMTH!
ReplyDeleteYou and me both! The UK's bracing itself for more storms - 100mph+ winds! It's a wild night here, but we're not at risk of flooding, unlike homes on the south coast...
