Focus on Life Week 2: Silhouette

I'm hoping by next week to have a new camera...
Our poor, old thing really doesn't cope with low light or back-lit subjects, which you kind of need to capture a silhouette!
So here's today's fuzzy dawn :)
And here's others' less-fuzzy pictures...

  1. A very artistic photo! Have fun picking a new camera ... I did that last summer and have really enjoyed my new one

  2. That sky is so beautiful - I love those bluey-peachy colours!

  3. The colors of the sky are gorgeous and make the outline of the trees really stand out.

  4. What your picture may lack in focus, it makes up for in composition. Love the one tall tree on the right!

  5. I actually have a good camera but it's such a pain to lug it around... All I know is that my point & shoot takes crappy sunsets!

  6. Yes, my point and click camera doesn't do well w/low light either - even on manual setting (or maybe I just don't do it right - that might be more of the problem!) :-) I do like your photo though. Landscape silhouettes are fabulous and 'fuzy' makes them even more interesting I think.

I like fuzzy dawn, I think the lack of sharp focus gives it a beautiful, ethereal quality.

  12. The fuzziness makes it look like a beautiful watercolour painting. Lovely!
