Giveaway 8 (winner drawn 6 April at 11am GMT) and Giveaway 7 winner

Finally, I'm back in the land of the living... and trying to catch up with myself....
So to crack on - here's the winner of Giveaway 7 - do you remember this pretty necklace?

Using the random number generator thingy, it chose no. 10 from the 21 comments left on the Giveaway post, which means

Congratulations, Onewaterlily!

Also, does anyone know how to contact Alexandra who won the angel sketchbook (Giveaway 6) - she's on Google+ and I can't contact her...

Giveaway 8

Now for this week's Giveaway

I love this book - but not enough the keep two copies - so I offer this brand new paperback to you :-)
There's an awful lot of wisdom packed into these 100+ pages, and I just love her quirky sketches!

She has a beautiful way with words, and you can learn more about Ruth Gendler here on her website. I'd really love one of her paintings, but I'm settling for enjoying all her books instead :-)

Leave a comment here if you'd like to win the book, and I'll draw the winner on Sunday 6 April at 11am (BST - yes, we finally changed our clocks this weekend!).

GOOD LUCK!!

  1. I won't enter as it would cost a fortune to mail a book to Canada. However thanks for introducing the work and author. I will order it from the library. So glad you are feeling better.

    1. It's actually a very light, thin paperback, Susan, so I'm more than happy to post it anywhere ;D

  3. I have been praying for you and glad to see that you felt up to blogging today. Years back when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and fibromyalgia within six weeks, I was not happy. Well, within a month, I've the worst bout of kidney stones ever. Although I did pass the stones on my own and did not have to have surgery. I lay on the bathroom floor in absolute agony for five hours. I was so sick I knew I couldn't even go to the emergency room All I could do was writhe in pain and PRAY! Then yesterday I was dagnosed with diverticular disease. I have no idea what is in store with that. Right now, I'm looking at it as just another bump in the road. As my doctor told me, there is always some one worse off than I am. I'm always amazed at my grief group, when people who I think story of their loved one is the worst I've heard comments that someone else's story is much worse than their story. I guess it is all in perspective and where you are in the healing process. I shall continue to pray for you. I hope you continue to feel better and regain strength each day.
