WOYWW 257
This is the stash of goodies I bought here on our wedding anniversary day trip last Tuesday.
Finally an A4 size Fiskars cutter (I use my small one almost every time I craft!), a BIG lined journal, cute washi tapes, a classic da Vinci mounted stamp, and I've opened the suffragette pack full of replica papers, posters, tickets, etc. I'm going to have such fun with these :)
Thank you baby bro Jon for my birthday pennies!!!
Scroll down to yesterday's post to see LOTS more birthday and anniversary photos! It was a wonderfully busy week, but I'm still recovering - hence I missed last week's WOYWW.
Now, I'll try and visit lots of desks gathered over at Julia's Stamping Ground...
Wishing you a great week xx

Happy Birthday - and LOL! I am dyin' to see how you use the Torturing Women in Prison bit of ephemera... DOH!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your cutter - I have it, and the smaller guillotine one, and use them both a lot (need a new blade for the trimmer, so you've reminded me of that - the odd benefits of WOYWW are many and varied.... :))
Happy WOYWW!

Happy birthday, and happy anniversary! What a gorgeous collection of stash to celebrate! I love the Suffragette material that you hve got, and how lovely to have a new paper cutter. I've got the older version of the Fiskar's one (takes the same blades) and I wouldn't be without it. I also have an A4 guillotine (purchased originally, many years ago, for office use). Both are in constant use in my ARTHaven.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your birthday and anniversary with us in your previous post - I so enjoyed reading it all, and have left you a comment.
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog - I am so sorry to hear that your early adventures in book binding were so cruelly curtailed. I can see that it's a fairly physical activity requiring a certain amount of strength - in both hands! I am no longer able to do the large scale paintings (murals) I used to do, but thank goodness there are always alternatives for our creative expression, and we have to look at the moving on as an adventure, and not as something we have lost - that's what I have found, anyway.
Happy WOYWW,

Hi Claire,
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday and anniversary! What a lovely couple you are!
I love the vintage papers that you bought. I can't wait to see how you use them. I must confess, I like washi tape too. Although I bought some on sale at Hobby Lobby and it wouldn't unwind without tearing to shreds.
Thank you for visiting me already!
Happy WOYWW
